Mint and redeem Q2

Q2 is a basket token. The only way to create it is to deposit its stocks, and the only way to destroy it is to take them back out.

Recipe

Try an amount. The numbers are what the program would take or pay.

Mint

Section titled “Mint”
  1. Open Basket and connect your wallet.
  2. Enter how much Q2 you want. The page shows the stocks it will take.
  3. Sign. The stocks move into the basket vault and Q2 is minted to you.

Redeem

Section titled “Redeem”
  1. Enter how much Q2 to burn.
  2. Sign. The Q2 is burned and the stocks move from the vault to your wallet.

Rounding

Section titled “Rounding”

Minting rounds the deposit up, redeeming rounds the payout down. Any dust stays in the vault, so backing can only sit at or above 100%. The Basket page shows backing live as vault holdings divided by Q2 in circulation.
